After Thomas inherits a country house from a grandmother he never knew, he and Beni travel to Brazil, eager to trace the family tree. Two aunts greet them warmly, but Beni senses something sinister beneath the quiet country charm. As Thomas falls under the spell of his newfound past, Beni begins to suspect that the house holds secrets that are far from peaceful.
